MEET SOPHIA

Sophia Snipes is a natural artist and entrepreneur based off the coast of North Carolina, originally from Morehead City, NC. Being from the beach, she has always had an appreciation for nature and the way color creates an immersive surrounding. Having lived surrounded by water and marsh land has been a foundation of inspiration throughout her art. 

Ensuring each piece is specially curated for others to fill their home with color and life is an essential intent for ssmadeart. 

 

Sophia had an interest in art since a young age though pursued a rather collective education after high school. Applying herself in hospitality management, business management and the world of real estate was an exploration of interest through a business mindset. Quickly realizing that was not a path she wanted to continue, she became interested in medical aesthetics which she perused a career in, in the Raleigh area of North Carolina. 

Eager to take her art to the next level, she moved to the DC area with her husband and started ssmadeart. 

Each piece created from ssmadeart is made to make you feel tranquil and relaxed in the warmth of your home.
